Evaluation the Treatment Effects of Functional Appliances Used in Class II Malocclusions

ürk toplumundaki görülme oranının %24 olduğu belirtilen Sınıf II maloklüzyonların mandibular yetersizlik, maksiller fazlalık ve glenoid fossanın posteriorda konumlanması sonucu oluşabildiği belirtilmektedir. 1,2 Tedavi planlamasının ise hasta yaşı, kalan büyüme miktarı, maloklüzyonun şiddeti ve yumuşak doku profiline bağlı olarak değişebil-diği ifade edilmektedir. In growing and developing subjects functional appliances are used to obtain the desired treatment results in skeletal, dental, and sof tissues by growth modification. It has been stated that the treatment effects of functional appliances that are differently designed and named may vary.
