“…Two of three studies that assessed the impact of technology-based interventions on reducing sedentary activity time found a significant decrease in sedentary behaviors (all active video game interventions) 13,28. For dietary behavior, five of eleven studies assessed dietary outcomes indicating improvement in dietary behaviors (ie, increased fruit/vegetable intake, decreased sugary drinks and snacking) in adolescents in the intervention groups (four Internet-based interventions and one active video game intervention) 13,2224,33.
