Abstract:The results of this study make it possible to improve understanding of viscous lubricant movement in radial sliding bearings with a polymer coating and a groove on the shaft surface. The studies show that the available grooves on the shaft surface affect the pressure distribution and lubricant viscosity, which, in its turn, influence the tribotechnical parameters of the bearing.
