“…Although we are applying this technique systematically in the surgery area as an analytical support to high-risk surgery for bleeding such as cardiac surgery with out-of-body circulation or liver surgery (conventional and transplant surgery), as well as in other kinds of surgery such as in our case, further studies are required to defi nitively show the cost-effectiveness of the application of the idea in high-risk surgery.
