In-service teacher training activities are regarded as the backbone of teacher performance throughout the educational process and the quality of education with learner academic attainme nt, but planning and implementation remain major issues in public secondary schools. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of in-service teacher training activities on teacher performance in Gatsibo district public secondary schools, with the following specific objectives; This study first assessed the extent to which teachers receive in-service training activities in Gatsibo District's public secondary schools; second, it assessed the level of teacher performance in Gatsibo District; and finally, it investigated the impact of in-service teacher training activities on teacher performance in Gatsibo District's public secondary schools. The data was gathered from 14 Gatsibo District head teachers and 149 teachers. Purposive sampling was used to obtain the number of schools and head teachers as respondents, as well as a proportion stratified sampling technique to obtain the number of teachers who participated in each school as respondents in this study. An interview guide was used to obtain key information from head teachers in the Gatsibo the district for qualitative data. On the other hand, the questionnaire was used to publicize secondary school schools from each sector in the Gatsibo district. Stata was used as an assisting statistical software to generate means, frequencies, and standard deviations for the analysis of the collected data. According to the findings of the study, 87% of teachers agreed that they need training on how to prepare pedagogical documents in public schools. Although the findings revealed that there is a high demand for regular in-service training among teachers in public secondary schools in Gatsibo district, in-service training has an insignificant association with teacher performance. Recommendation to the government: Assess the outcomes of in-service trainings through monitoring and evaluation. The government should establish a process for gathering feedback from trainees by requesting a monthly report from school leaders on in-service trainings held at the school level.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan evaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dalam Kurikulum Merdeka dan pendukung dan kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam penerapan pembelajaran. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini melihat evaluasi model CIIP oleh Stufflebeam di fokuskan pada evaluasi proses. Objek pada penelitian adalah Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada objek aktivitas proses pembelajaran peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Adisucipto 1 Yogyakarta, sedangkan Subyek penelitianya guru kelas IV. Teknik Pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara sebagai penguat hasil penelitian ini. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan kualitatif komparasi. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini pelaksanaan pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) kelas IV dalam Kurikulum Merdeka Sekolah Dasar sesuai dengan standar proses yang terdapat dalam Permendikbudristek no 16 Tahun 2022. faktor pendukung yang berasal dari kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, Pelatihan dan workshop terkait penerapan kurikulum merdeka, antusias siswa yang baik, dukungan sarana dan prasarana sekolah dalam penyediaan bahan pembelajaran, kegiatan guru, kemampuan menggunakan media digital berupa komputer dan smartphone dan tentunya peran orang tua dalam pendidikan anaknya. Sedangkan kendala dalam pelaksanaan guru yang masih terbilang baru belum sepenuhnya memahami komponen dan panduan pembelajaran dan asesment dalam kurikulum merdeka.

Araştırmanın amacı, fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının fen laboratuvar ortamını düzenleme sürecine ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırmada bütüncül tek durum deseni kullanılmıştır. Fen laboratuvar ortamını düzenlemeye gönüllü 30 fen bilgisi öğretmen adayı katılmıştır. Düzenleme sonrası, öğretmen adayları ile görüşme yapılmıştır. Görüşme verilerinin analizinden fen laboratuvarının düzenleme sürecinde gerçekleştirilen görevlerin gerekçesine, karşılaşılan zorluklara, malzeme ve araç-gereçlerde dikkat çeken durumlara, hissedilen duygulara ve bu sürecin katkılarına ilişkin bulgular elde edilmiştir. Çoğu katılımcı, fen laboratuvarını düzenleme sürecinde gerçekleştirilen görevin gerekçesinin malzeme ve araç-gereçlerin yerini bulmak olduğunu belirtmiştir. Bu süreçte ciddi olarak zorlanmadıklarını açıklamışlardır. Ayrıca bazı malzeme ve araç-gereçlerle daha öncesinde karşılaşmamış olduklarını ifade etmişlerdir. Büyük çoğunluğu bu süreçte olumlu yönde duygular hissettiğini ve yeni bilgiler öğrenme, etkili öğrenme ortamı oluşturma, kendine güven duyma ve farkındalık oluşturma açısından bu sürecin öğretmen eğitimi için oldukça önemli katkı sağladığını belirtmiştir. Bu nedenle bu sürecin katılımcıların bilgi ve becerilere etkisini belirlemeye yönelik çeşitli nitel ve nicel çalışmalar yapılabilir.
