Evaluation of the safety of using harmonic scalpel during laparoscopic cholecystectomy in children: A preliminary report

Abstract: Background and objectiveIn spite of being one of the most common surgical procedures performed in adults, laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) is relatively uncommon in the pediatric age group.
