Evaluation of the Reduction of Seismic Response of Adjacent Structures Using Viscous Damper Joint

Abstract: This study examines the effects of common viscose damper on the behavior of adjacent reinforced concrete structures. For this purpose, three reinforced concrete buildings with 3, 5 and 7 floors and a regular plan were selected and were compared in two cases with and without viscous dampers at the seams.
