Evaluation of the protein gap for detection of abnormal serum gammaglobulin level: an imperfect predictor

Abstract: ObjectivesThe value of the serum protein gap (PG, difference between total protein and albumin) in the detection of hyper- or hypogammaglobulinemia is not well established.
