Evaluation of the Prevalence of Prolonged QT Syndrome in Children with First Unprovoked Seizure

Abstract: Background: The long QT syndrome (LQTS) is a disorder of myocardial repolarization characterized by a prolonged QT interval on the ECG. This syndrome may be congenital or acquired and it can be associated with seizure-like symptoms. ECG is used routinely to diagnose this syndrome.
