Evaluation of the possibility of use of coal-ash residues of oil shales as a sorbent

Abstract

An X-ray fluorescence analysis was performed to obtain data on the chemical composition of the coal-ash residue and oil shale ash. Their chemical resistance, density are determined. The specific surface area was determined by the Klyachko-Gurvich method. Based on the results obtained, a conclusion was made about the prospects for using these materials as sorbents.
