Evaluation of the leading band coefficients of the boundary integral system of equations

Abstract

Numerical integration of integrals that are either improper or have logarithmic integrands is required in order to evaluate some of the coefficients of the boundary integral system of equations in two-dimensional elastostatics. This technique allows for the evaluation of these coefficients numerically with the use of the Gauss-Legendre quadrature formula.
