Evaluation of the Functional Outcome of Laparoscopic Heller Cardiomyotomy in Treatment of Patients with Achalasia of the Cardia

Abstract: Background: Achalasia is an esophageal motor disorder characterized by increased lower esophageal sphincter (LES) pressure and diminished or absent peristalsis in the distal esophagus.
