Evaluation of the durability of asphalt concrete on polymer modified bitumen

Abstract: For research conduction to prepare the modified bitumen and the polymer asphalt concrete there were used the stone materials from the Malynsky enterprise and the mineral powdered lime, the petroleum paving bitumen of 60/90 grade from the Mozyrsky enterprise, and the Butanol NS 198 modifier. Conducted research showed that the asphalt concretes produced using the Butonal NS 198 meet the requirements to hot asphalt concrete and have higher strength and durability parameters. The polymer asphalt concrete design ch… Show more

“…The conducted discussion indicates that vibration tests are currently relevant among specialists [21][22][23][24]. Most authors pay attention to the possibility of improving the process of study of high-rise monolithic constructions; this approach is the most effective among others [25][26][27]. The results of the discussion largely coincide with the authors' ideas and conclusions because they relate to the theoretical foundations of the vibration testing process and also reveal their content.…”

“…Of particular importance in the examination of hydraulic structures is the assessment of the condition of reinforced concrete elements of the base [5]. It is known that voids behind reinforced concrete elements of underground hydraulic structures formed during their construction and operation are serious defects that prevent the normal operation of structures [6,7]. The results of methodical georadar studies conducted on the sections of the Charsk -Ust-Kamenogorsk railway line in the East Kazakhstan region have shown the high efficiency of the georadar sounding method for assessing voids in the soil of the embankment under the concrete slabs of the slope.…”
