Evaluation of the Antiemetic Effect of Premedication Optimized by Pharmaceutical Support in Cisplatin Regimens

Abstract: Cisplatin is classified as a drug with high emetic risk; thus, the use of aprepitant or fosaprepitant in addition to a 5-hydroxytryptamine-3 (5-HT 3 ) receptor antagonist and dexamethasone is recommended for antiemetic therapy. Further, hydration is required to prevent renal dysfunction, and the use of magnesium has been proposed as a part of the hydration procedure.
