Evaluation of the Accuracy of ADAS Module Readings Based on an Analysis of the Transient Supply Current and Neural Network Application

Abstract: The following paper presents advanced methods for evaluating the reliability of ADAS module readings, based on an analysis of the transient supply current. Changes in the transient current waveform occur due to environmental conditions and damage to a module's inner circuitry. Specific deviations in the waveforms may indicate a certain eventeither internal or external. This paper presents how to successfully distinguish certain anomalies using artificial neural network-based classification algorithms without h… Show more

“…Effective traffic management schemes that improve traffic flow and utilization of road infrastructure are very important at present times [19,20]. Magnetic sensors have advantages over other non-contact based sensing techniques because the weather conditions do not affect the efficiency of vehicle detection [21,22]. In the literature, the following features are indicated: the low price of detectors and simplicity of their installation.…”

“…Moreover, researchers developed methods that use single sensor data to discover errors in numerous spots, reducing the overall inspection work in defect identification (Pfingstl et al, 2020). More advanced systems like driver assistance systems make use of sensor readings to reduce the number of accidents by monitoring (Grzechca et al, 2018). Manco et al (2017) developed a predictive maintenance system that predicts door failures in metro trains.…”
