Evaluation of Specific Protein Analysis in a Non-Teaching Hospital Laboratory

Abstract: A retrospective study has been made to assess the value of specific protein analysis in a routine laboratory. The use of cellulose acetate electrophoresis, immunoelectrophoresis, and single radial immunodiffusion has been discussed with reference to the source of the request for the investigation and the yield of abnormal results.
