The need to create resource-saving technologies of building materials using closed-loop production (CLP) has been analyzed. The features of the use of waste in the production of ceramic tiles, their influence on the properties of materials and possible limitations have been determined. The composition of the ceramic mass with the use of waste from the enrichment of quartz-feldspar raw materials of «Maydan-Vilsky Quarry» LLC has been developed. The results of the study of the chemical composition of KRM-12 established that the composition of its residue is characterized by a high content of silicon and potassium oxides, which allows us to conclude about a significant content of pegmatite. The chemical composition of the residue QRM-12 is characterized by an increased content of aluminum and potassium oxides, which indicates the presence of dispersed kaolin and pegmatite crystals. A feature of QRM-12 is increased plasticity – 9 units. The influence of the proposed composition on the characteristics of finished products is determined. Interpretation of the «mullite–silica–leucite» phase diagram showed that crystallization and grain growth are closely related to the amount and viscosity of the liquid phase present at the firing temperature. The technological and economic feasibility of using pegmatite enrichment waste in the production of competitive building materials is shown.

Bu çalışmada, Kırşehir yöresi atık mermer tozunun çevre dostu tuğla üretiminde kullanılabilirliğinin araştırılması hedeflenmiştir. Bu hedef doğrultusunda atık mermer tozu kullanılarak fiziksel ve mekanik açıdan normal tuğlaya göre daha üstün özelliklere sahip çevre dostu tuğla üretimi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında, killi toprak içerisine, Kırşehir yöresinden çıkarılan atık mermer tozu %10, %20, %30, %40 ve %50 oranlarında ikame edilerek katkılı tuğla üretilmiştir. Üretilen numunelere, suya doygun birim hacim ağırlık, porozite, su emme (ağırlıkça), donma çözülme etkisi, sülfat etkisi, basınç dayanımı ve eğilmede çekme dayanımı deneyleri yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, atık mermer tozu miktarının artmasıyla, suya doygun birim hacim ağırlığında azalma görülürken, porozite, su emme (ağırlıkça), donma çözülme etkisi, sülfat etkisi değerlerinde artış meydana gelmiştir. Mekanik deneylerde ise basınç dayanımı azalırken, eğilmede çekme dayanım değerinde artış olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca uygun miktarlarda (%10) atık mermer tozu ikamesinin tuğla özelliklerini iyileştirebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

ResumoO reaproveitamento de resíduos tem se tornado uma preocupação mundial muito relevante nos últimos anos, e a indústria cerâmica é atualmente um dos setores que utiliza como uma alternativa viável a incorporação de diversos resíduos. Nesse contexto, o objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar a incorporação de resíduo de vidro plano em cerâmica vermelha. Foram produzidas formulações contendo 100% argila e 70% argila com adição de 30% de resíduo. Os corpos de prova foram confeccionados por prensagem manual a 8T e a 15T, para fins comparativos, e queimados a uma temperatura de 900 ºC. Os resultados indicaram que o resíduo melhora significativamente as propriedades avaliadas. Além disso, a maior pressão de compactação também apresentou melhores resultados. Isso resultou em propriedades coerentes com aplicações cerâmicas na forma de blocos e telhas. Em conclusão, foi comprovada a viabilidade do uso do resíduo, que, além de aprimorar as propriedades do material, traz benefícios de economia para a indústria cerâmica.
