Résumé -Introduction :Le secteur antérieur représente un enjeu esthétique important. L'avulsion Implantation mise en cosmétique immédiate consiste en la mise en place d'un implant et de la restauration provisoire fixe dans la même séance. Observation : Il s'agissait d'une patiente en bonne santé générale ayant subi un traumatisme dentaire sur la 21. Après analyse clinique et radiologique, il était décidé de mettre en place un implant de 4,3 mm de diamètre et de 13 mm de long avec un platform switching (Nobel Biocare®). Un comblement du hiatus était réalisé à l'aide d'hydroxyapatite d'origine bovine faiblement résorbable (Bio Oss®) ainsi qu'une greffe conjonctive (prélèvement palatin). L'implantation était suivie de la mise en cosmétique immédiate par une prothèse provisoire (couronne dentaire de la dent extraite rebasée) en sous-occlusion. Les résultats esthétiques et fonctionnels à 1 an de mise en fonction étaient satisfaisants. Discussion : De nombreux protocoles ont été décrits dans la littérature d'où une difficulté à établir un consensus sur la technique la plus appropriée pour obtenir un taux de réussite au moins équivalent à la technique conventionnelle. Certaines études montrent même des taux d'échec plus importants, ce qui réserve cette technique à des cas particuliers (parodonte épais, table intègre, régénération osseuse guidée concomitante). Conclusion : Cette technique demeure une solution prometteuse qui nécessiterait la réalisation d'étude à long terme. Abstract -Decision-making factors of immediate implant placement and temporary restoration. Introduction:Anterior restorations are an important aesthetic issue . Immediate implant placement and temporary restoration is a technique in which the implant and fixed temporary restoration are placed during the same session. Observation: A healthy patient consulted with a broken left maxillary median incisor (21). After analysis of the clinical and radiological situation, a Nobel Replace PS 4,3x13mm implant (Nobelbiocare®) was chosen. The gap was filled with slightly absorbable hydroxyapatite of bovine origin (Bio-Oss®) and a gum graft of connective tissue (palatal sample). The temporary fixed restoration was the extracted natural tooth. One year later, the aesthetic and functional results were satisfactory, as expected. Discussion: Many protocols have been described in the literature, hence the difficulty of building a consensus on the most appropriate technique for a success rate at least equivalent to the conventional technique. Some studies even show a greater failure rate and reserve this technique for specific cases (thick periodontal tissues, integrate osseous table, concomitant guided bone regeneration).

Because of their outstanding mechanical properties, chemical stability, and biocompatibility, 3-mol % yttria-stabilised tetragonal zirconia polycrystals (3Y-TZP), known as zirconia ceramics in dentistry, are an important choice for various types of prosthesis. In addition to extensive use for crown and bridge construction, considerable interest has been generated for applications in implant dentistry, including full-contour zirconia crowns as supra-constructions, zirconia abutments, and novel zirconia implants. However, their use among dentist and researchers is controversial, especially compared with the well-established implants made of titanium alloys. As a latecomer, the merits and limitations of 3Y-TZP are awaiting careful investigation. Design, manufacturing, and clinical operation guidelines are urgently needed. The aim of this review was to address the present status of the application of zirconia ceramics related to implant dentistry by analysing the published data from both in vitro and in vivo studies. Suggestions are provided for potential improvements and suitable applications of zirconia ceramics in metal-free implant dentistry. ARTICLE HISTORY

IntroducciónLa práctica de reponer órganos dentarios perdidos mediante implantes ha alcanzado un grado de universalización y de certeza en cuanto a los resultados (1) que la ha vuelto una herramienta de uso diario en la práctica clínica. Sin embargo, con los mejores resultados también llegaron las mayores exigencias por parte de los pacientes y también de los profesionales, buscando aproximarse cada vez más a la estética dental y especialmente a la estética gingival de los dientes naturales. La obtención de estética gingival en las piezas restituidas mediante implantes ha mostrado ser el principal problema a resolver por esta rama de la profesión. Buscando realizar un aporte respecto a estos tópicos, se diseñó esta instancia de revisión de la bibliografía referente a la citada temática y su discusión mediante la modalidad de taller, hacia la búsqueda de consensos. METODOLOGÍA DEL TALLER.La dinámica del taller se desarrolló siguiendo las siguientes etapas: -Revisión bibliográfica. Los responsables del seminario accedieron a los portales Timbó. Pubmed, Medline y Lilacs revisando la literatura de los últimos diez años, seleccionaron 23 trabajos, todos realizados en humanos que se consideraron representativos de la temática a tratar. -Preguntas guía. Se formularon, con la finalidad de ordenar la discusión, cuatro preguntas guía consideradas representativas de la temática del seminario y de la bibliografía seleccionada. Ellas fueron: ¿Cuáles son las causas de la recesión gingival? ¿Qué importancia tiene el manejo del provisional en la conformación de los tejidos peri-implantares en la zona estética? ¿Que se considera un manejo óptimo de los pilares en relación a su diseño, los materiales y la estética? ¿Qué índices de evaluación estética existen? -Intercambio con los participantes del taller. Se envió a los participantes la bibliografía seleccionada y las preguntas guía de la discusión, vía email, para su lectura y evaluación, junto con la propuesta de dos instancias de reunión previa, para iniciar así el intercambio científico. -Evaluación científica. Se determinó que el día del taller estuviera presente un evaluador científico que no participaría de la discusión y cuya función sería la evaluación de: calidad de la literatura propuesta, representatividad de las preguntas guía, nivel científico alcanzado durante la discusión, correlación de las conclusiones del seminario con las preguntas guía y la bibliografía propuesta. Abstract: The PES reproducibly evaluates peri-implant soft tissue around single-tooth implants. Thus, an objective outcome of different surgical or prosthodontic protocols can be assessed. Orthodontists were clearly more critical than the other observers.
