Abstract:Aim: Brinjal (Solanum melongena L.) is one of the most important vegetable crops which is grown in India and throughout the world which belongs to Solanaceae family with chromosome number 2n =24. This investigation is mainly aimed to evaluate the brinjal genotypes and identify the superior genotypes with high yield, good quality and tolerance to shoot and fruit borer.
