Abstract: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is one of the common complications in surgical patients. Venous thromboembolism (VTE), which is manifested as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), represents a significant cause of death, disability, and discomfort.
