Evaluation of Ovarian Perfusion With Indocyanine Green Dye (ICG) in Patients With Suspected Adnexal Torsion [OP02-4B]

Abstract: INTRODUCTION: The aim of this study is to assess the safety and feasibility of Indocyanine Green (ICG) dye in patients with adnexal torsion. Our hypothesis is that the use of ICG dye will aid in the surgical determination of tissue viability, ultimately preventing the resection of salvageable ovaries. METHODS: An IRB approved pilot study is currently enrolling patients 18-45 years old with suspected adnexal torsion in a multicentered tertiary care hospi… Show more

“…The literature [ 13 , 15 , 16 ] improved the U-Net [ 17 ], a code-and-decode structure that enhances the recognition of vascular border information [ 18 ], however, the actual sensory field of the network is much smaller than the theoretical sensory field [ 19 ], which leads to the inadequacy of this structure for fine vascular segmentation. The literature [ 10 , 11 ] used dilated convolution to increase the sensory field of the network without using global averaging pooling in the feature extraction process.…”
