Evaluation of Naturally Fractured Gas Shale Production Utilizing Multiwell Transient Tests: A Field Study

Abstract: A series of multiple well transient tests were conducted in a Devonian shale gas field in Meigs County, Ohio. Production parameters were quantified and it was determined that the reservoir is highly anisotropic, which is a significant factor in calculating half-fracture length from pressure transient data.
