Evaluation of mutants and association studies in non-lodging clusterbean (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub.) mutant lines for yield and yield attributing traits
Abstract:Fifteen cluster bean genotypes including the parent MDU 1 and fourteen determinate M 5 generation cluster bean mutants were evaluated to determine the correlation and path analysis among yield and yield attributing characters. The genotypic correlation coefficient was observed to be higher in magnitude than the phenotypic correlation coefficient for most of the characters studied. The correlation analysis indicated the positive association of pod yield per plant with plant height, number of clusters per plant,… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
