Evaluation of Melissa Officinalis Extract and Oil as Eco-friendly Corrosion Inhibitor for Carbon Steel in Acidic Chloride Solutions

Abstract: The extract (E) and oil of Melissa Officinalis leaves (EO) have been evaluated as a corrosion inhibitors for carbon steel in 1.0 M HCl solution by means of weight loss measurements, potentiodynamic polarization, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
