“…The authors conclude that administration of IV drugs is a complex issue and errors may be reduced by using AID and other risk reduction strategies such as CPOE and BCMA and improving nurse education in drug administration. Using EHR, CPOE and BMCA may reduce medication errors by as much as 24% (p = 0.0008) over a long period of time (Liao et al, 2017).
