“…ha -1 was the most effective treatment against shoot and fruit borer of Brinjal with the lowest percentage of shoot (1.26%) and fruit (2.49%) infestation. Reddy and Hampaiah (2018) evaluated different insecticide mixtures against the spotted pod borer, Maruca vitrata and found that Lambdacyhalothrin 4.6 % + Chlorantraniliprole 9.3 % ZC @ 0.50 mL L -1 was most effective treatment. The population of S. litura was noted a day before the first spray and distributed uniformly and ranged from 4.43-4.67 larvae plant -1 (Table 2 & Fig 2).…”

“…The present findings were also supported by Reddy and Paul (2019) who also found that Lambda-cyhalothrin 4.6% + Chlorantraniliprole 9.3% ZC @ 30 g a.i ha -1 , Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda-cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC @ 27.5 g a.i ha -1 and Chlorantraniliprole 8.8% + Thiamethoxam 17.5% SC @ 150 g a.i ha -1 were effective in management of S. litura. Reddy and Hampaiah (2018) evaluated different insecticide mixtures against the spotted pod borer, Maruca vitrata and found that Lambda-cyhalothrin 4.6 % + Chlorantraniliprole 9.3 % ZC @ 0.50 mL L -1 was most effective treatment. The yield was found to be high in treatment Chlorantraniliprole 10% + Lambdacyhalothrin 5% ZC 250mL ha -1 (379.33 q ha -1 ), followed Chlorantraniliprole 25 g a.i.…”
