Abstract: Phytochemicals are known to contain a high concentration of therapeutically active principles, which, when consumed in sufficient quantities, can have drug-like effects. Bryophillum pinnatum (Lam.) is a succulent-ethno medicinal xerophyte with a long history of use in traditional Indian medicine.
