Evaluation of Genetic Gain in Newly Developed Winter Barley Varieties for Grain Yield and Related Traits

Abstract: As a result of multi-year trial (2012/13-2016/17) there have been proved statistically significant breeding and genetic improvement of yield, its stability and level of manifestation yield-related traits in new winter barley varieties Paladin Myronivskyi, MIP Yason, MIP Oskar, and MIP Hladiator compared to the old Myronivka variety Bemir 2.
