Evaluation of Francis media for extended spectrum beta lactamase (ESBL) screening

Abstract: Francis media was developed for the differential screening of Burkholderia pseudomallei. It was later found to have additional function of selecting extended spectrum beta lactamase (ESBL) from Enterobacteriaceae.
