Evaluation of DSM‐5 and ICD‐11 personality traits using the Personality Inventory for DSM‐5 (PID‐5) in a Brazilian sample of psychiatric inpatients

Abstract: ObjectiveThe objective of this study was to test if the Personality Inventory for DSM‐5 (PID‐5) is an adequate instrument to evaluate psychiatric inpatients' pathological personality traits.MethodsInpatients (n = 130; mean age: 38.5 years; 62.3% female; 63.9% single) answered the PID‐5 after clinical improvement of their psychiatric symptoms.
