There are two common methods of the System Usability Scale (SUS) in quantitative usability evaluation, which are the Sauro & Lewis method and the Riihiaho method. The research aims to find the fittest SUS methods for usability evaluation of a social network application from those two methods. Using a comparative study approach, the research compared the number of valid scores of the 10 SUS indicators between those two methods. The valid score of each SUS indicator is obtained if the data of the SUS evaluation and the qualitative usability evaluation support each other. Qualitative data which was collected from five ordinary users for each SUS method by usability testing and interviews had been analyzed using a topdown analysis approach. The research obtained two main findings. Firstly, the Sauro & Lewis method is more relevant than the Riihiaho method from the comparison between the obtained SUS indicator scores and interview results. Secondly, the two methods have the same strength of relevance when the SUS indicator scores are compared with the usability testing result. Based on those findings, the Sauro & Lewis method may be fitter than the Riihiaho method for evaluating the usability of a social network application, from the user perspective.

Background As the field of robotics and smart wearables continues to advance rapidly, the evaluation of their usability becomes paramount. Researchers may encounter difficulty in finding a suitable questionnaire for evaluating the usability of robotics and smart wearables. Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify the most commonly utilized questionnaires for assessing the usability of robots and smart wearables. Methods A comprehensive search of databases, including PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus, was conducted for this scoping review. Two authors performed the selection of articles and data extraction using a 10-field data extraction form. In cases of disagreements, a third author was consulted to reach a consensus. The inclusions were English-language original research articles that utilized validated questionnaires to assess the usability of healthcare robots and smart wearables. The exclusions comprised review articles, non-English publications, studies not focused on usability, those assessing clinical outcomes, articles lacking questionnaire details, and those using non-validated or researcher-made questionnaires. Descriptive statistics methods (frequency and percentage), were employed to analyze the data. Results A total of 314 articles were obtained, and after eliminating irrelevant and duplicate articles, a final selection of 50 articles was included in this review. A total of 17 questionnaires were identified to evaluate the usability of robots and smart wearables, with 10 questionnaires specifically for wearables and 7 questionnaires for robots. The System Usability Scale (50%) and Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (19.44%) were the predominant questionnaires utilized to assess the usability of smart wearables. Moreover, the most commonly used questionnaires for evaluating the usability of robots were the System Usability Scale (56.66%), User Experience Questionnaire (16.66%), and Quebec User Evaluation of Satisfaction with Assistive Technology (10%). Conclusion Commonly employed questionnaires serve as valuable tools in assessing the usability of robots and smart wearables, aiding in the refinement and optimization of these technologies for enhanced user experiences. By incorporating user feedback and insights, designers can strive towards creating more intuitive and effective robotic and wearable solutions.

Technological developments bring comfort and ease to users in accessing applications. Companies need to design systems that are centered on human needs to create technology that is competitive in the market, especially in the field of expeditions. The problem that arises in the sea cargo expedition company is that master data recording is still done manually, which has an impact on reducing data accuracy. Apart from that, the process of recording shipping transactions and status changes is not updated in real time. Things like this are the reason Sea Cargo Expedition hopes to design a goods delivery application that is centered on user needs. This research aims to design a prototype and test the level of user satisfaction with the goods delivery application. Based on the background of this problem, the research focuses on implementing the design thinking method to develop a goods delivery application because it is able to collect user needs directly. Design thinking is divided into five stages, namely, empathize (understanding the problem), define (analyzing the problem), ideate (creating a wireframe), prototype (designing an application design), and test (trial using System Usability Testing (SUS)). This research produces a prototype goods delivery application based on the user's user experience assessment so that it can provide good functionality.
