Abstract:Objective: Determining the possible role of Demodex mites in patients with chronic urticaria Methods: Demodex screening results in 49 patients with chronic urticaria were evaluated retrospectively. Results: The mean number of Demodex mites per 1 cm2 measured with standardized skin-surface biopsy (SSSB) was 0.89 which was at a similar level as control groups in the literature.
