Abstract:Chlorpropham is a carbamate herbicide that inhibits cell division and has been widely used as a potato sprout suppressant. Recently we showed that the microalga Dunaliella salina treated with chlorpropham massively accumulated the colourless carotenoids phytoene and phytofluene.
