Objective: The combination of paclitaxel-cisplatin regimen is one of the chemotherapy regimens used at Sanglah General Hospital, Denpasar. Cisplatin is a potent chemotherapeutic agent, but the nephrotoxic effects of cisplatin reported that research is needed to see the toxic effect on the kidneys before and after 6 series of paclitaxel-cisplatin chemotherapy. Toxicity assessment of the chemotherapy can be observed by evaluating kidney function from monitoring both blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine serum value. Methods:The research was conducted as an observational study using a prospective cohort method. The research was conducted from January 2016 to June 2016. Patients' follow-up was conducted from the first until the last series of chemotherapy. The data were statistically analyzed with STATA version 14 with paired t-test when the data were normally distributed or the data were analyzed with Wilcoxon test when they were not normally distributed.Results: A total of seven patients were evaluated with both their BUN and creatinine serum values during six series of chemotherapy. Statistically, the BUN and creatinine serum values before the first and after the last paclitaxel-cisplatin chemotherapy series are not statistically significantly different (p>0.05). Conclusion:There are no significant changes of both BUN and creatinine serum values before the first and after the last paclitaxel-cisplatin chemotherapy series in patients with stadium IIB-IIIB squamous cell cervical cancer. Research with larger sample size is essential to provide optimal information for other health-care professionals.

Kanker serviks ialah keganasan kedua terbanyak di Indonesia. Salah satu penatalaksanaannya yaitu kemoterapi. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui fungsi ginjal pasien kanker serviks setelah dilakukan kemoterapi 3 seri di RSUP Sanglah Denpasar tahun 2018. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskriptif retrospektif longitudinal menggunakan data rekam medis dari pasien kanker serviks yang menjalani kemoterapi paklitaksel-karboplatin. Selama penelitian, terkumpul sebanyak 76 kasus yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi yang kemudian dianalisis . Median SC sebelum dilakukan kemoterapi ialah 0,79mg/dL dan setelah kemoterapi menjadi 0,71mg/dL. Pada pemeriksaan BUN median sebelum kemoterapi ialah 10,5mg/dL dan setelah dilakukan kemoterapi menjadi 9,70mg/dL. Sebanyak 77,6% pasien memiliki hasil pemeriksaan SC dan/atau BUN dalam rentang normal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa setelah dilakukan kemoterapi paklitaksel-karboplatin tidak memberikan efek samping serius yang dapat menurunkan fungsi ginjal. Penggunaan regimen BOM-cisplatin untuk kemoterapi pasien kanker serviks masih belum memberikan hasil efektivitas yang memuaskan, sehingga dilakukan penggantian agen cisplatin dengan karboplatin. Kemoterapi BOM-karboplatin merupakan salah satu regimen terapi kanker serviks di RSUP Sanglah Denpasar. Informasi tentang efektivitas penggunaan BOM-karboplatin untuk kemoterapi kanker serviks masih sangat minim, maka dari itu penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melihat massa tumor dan infiltrasi parametrium. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus terhadap 9 pasien kanker serviks sel skuamosa stadium IIB-IIIB sebelum dan sesudah kemoterapi BOM-karboplatin di RSUP Sanglah dari bulan Februari hingga Agustus 2015 yang memenuhi kriteria. Pemeriksaan Massa Tumor dan Infiltrasi Parametrium (%CFS) dilakukan sebelum kemoterapi seri I dan sesudah kemoterapi seri III. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan consecutive sampling. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas yaitu uji Shapiro-Wilk dan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji t berpasangan dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%, sedangkan data berdistribusi tidak normal ditranformasi ke bentuk fungsi logaritma lalu dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan analisis statistik diketahui bahwa terdapat penurunan bermakna pada massa tumor dan infiltrasi parametrium kiri sesudah 3 seri kemoterapi dengan nilai p<0,05 yaitu masingmasing p=0,001 dan p=0,025, tetapi tidak terdapat penurunan bermakna pada infiltrasi parametrium kanan dengan nilai p>0.05 yaitu p>0,083.
