Evaluation of antimicrobial effect due to the results of in vitro photodynamic reaction modelling

Abstract: Increase in number of multiresistant and highly-virulent strains leads to the necessity of search of alternative antimicrobial agents. Antimicrobial effect ofphotosensitizers, light bulb and both altogether on hospital strains by the way of photodynamic reaction modeling has been studied. Photosensitizer Photosens in various concentrations was used. Light bulb «Biospek» with emission power 40 Wt/cm 2 and wave-length 660-680 nanometres were used.
