Abstract:The average age of a registered nurse in Australia has risen in the last 5 years, especially in Tasmania. Indicating that school leavers are not being attracted into this career. The evaluation of a one-day immersive Nurse Taster workshop has indicated that this may assist in attracting school leavers into the nursing profession.
