Evaluation of a thrombin generation assay in dogs administered clopidogrel

Abstract: Background: The antiplatelet effect of clopidogrel can vary between patients. A modified thromboelastography (TEG) protocol (TEG-Platelet Mapping assay® [TEG-PM]) can be used for clopidogrel monitoring but is not widely available.
