Evaluation of a detoxification regimen for fat stored xenobiotics

Abstract: A detoxification regimen has been found to be safe for use by individuals exposed to recreational (abused) and medical drugs, patent medicines, occupational and environmental chemicals Patients with high blood pressure had a mean reduction of 30.8 mm systolic, 23.3 mm diastolic. Cholesterol level mean reduction was 19.5 mg/100ml, while triglycerides did not change. Medical complications associated with the program were rare, occuring in less than three percent of the subjects. The program resulted in improveme… Show more

“…Previously published data, however, indicate that other lipophilic chemicals have also been reduced by this treatment. [9][10][11]48 Though treated patients maintained an improvement in adipose PCB levels, these levels were higher for all groups at the 4 month follow-up than had been observed at post-treatment. No unusual exposure opportunities were recorded to explain these changes, although inadvertent exposure due to ongoing clean-up activities or a persisting local contamination 49 may have contributed to the observed elevations.…”

On completion of treatment, all had blood drawn for post-treatment testing and complete follow-up examination as described above.…”
