The issue of water and in particular that of drinking water remains one of the focal points of the news of these last decades. To provide a sustainable solution and preserve the human health, this study was initiated. The characterization of well water which constitutes a permanent source of supply for some and temporary for others revealed values contradictory to those set by the WHO. Mean values of (13.7 ± 1.65), (67.92 ± 12.61), (1.05 ± 1.2) and (6.14 ± 0.65) were obtained respectively for ammonium, nitrate, phosphate and hydrogen potential against WHO limit values set respectively at 0.5 mg/L, 50 mg/L, 0.4 mg/L and 6.5 to 8.5. Statistical analysis showed that parameters such as ammonium (r = 0.88), nitrate (r = 0.79), TDS (r = 0.99), chloride salts (r = 0.77) and nitrite (r =0.82) are strongly correlated with conductivity.
