Évaluation de l’effet d’un dispositif de remédiation pédagogique sur les performances d’élèves marocains en difficulté de déchiffrage en français

Abstract

This article reports on the experimentation of a pedagogical remediation device that aimed to fill the gaps in French deciphering accumulated among Moroccan students enrolled in fifth year of primary cycle in two different schools in a small town in the east of Morocco. The device designed for this purpose included diagnostic and final tests as well as a remediation program based on the development of phonological awareness and review of the reading of some complex graphemes which were identified as problematic for these learner readers following the diagnosis made. The analysis of the results led us to conclude that the subjects of our experimental group have significantly ameliorated compared to those of the control group.
