Evaluation and Improvement of Intern Progress Note Assessments and Plans

Abstract: OBJECTIVES: Progress notes communicate providers’ assessments of patients’ diagnoses, progress, and treatment plans; however, providers perceive that note quality has degraded since the introduction of electronic health records.
