ResumoO estudo analisa os processos utilizados e resultados obtidos na criação de heurísticas de domínio específico dentro da área de avaliação de usabilidade de interfaces. Para esse fim realizou-se uma revisão sistemática de literatura englobando estudos que abordam a definição de heurísticas como um dos objetivos práticos. Como resultado foi possível traçar processos utilizados na obtenção de heurísticas de domínios específicos assim como os resultados obtidos através das mesmas, o que pode ser utilizado para refinar processos de avaliação de usabilidade através de heurísticas. Conclui-se que os estudos não estruturam claramente o processo para obtenção de heurísticas específicas, o que em domínios complexos pode dificultar processos de avaliação de usabilidade e diminuir a validade dos resultados. AbstractThe study analyzes the used processes and results obtained in the creation of specific domain heuristics within the area of evaluation of interface usability. For this purpose a literature review was conducted in studies that addressed the search for heuristics as one of the practical objectives. As a result it was possible to trace processes used to obtain specific domain heuristics as well as the results obtained, which can be used to refine usability evaluation processes through heuristics. It is concluded that the studies do not clearly structure the process to obtain specific heuristics, which in complex domains may hinder usability evaluation processes and decrease the validity of the results.

This research examines the influence of usability and flow on user satisfaction of mobile gaming. Two structural equation models test the influences resulted from usability and flow and compare differences between two main types of mobile games, the RPG/adventure and causal/puzzle types preferred most in Taiwan. The results show that the integrative model of usability and flow explains user mobile satisfaction well. Accordingly, this paper discusses strategies for enhancing user mobile satisfaction by achieving usability and flow experience through collaboration among three important complementary mobile players: game vendors, mobile phone manufactures, and mobile network operators.

The increasing usage of the internet all over the world has become an indispensable part of our life. The use of internet in many areas such as health, tourism, education, transportation, shopping, communication, banking is increasing day by day and spreading over a wider area. With the widespread use of the Internet, the use of web sites and the work carried out on this area have also increased. Web sites are the bridge between user and information resources. User-centric design principles make it possible for users to efficiently use web sites. Several methods, standards, and studies have been done to measure accessibility and usability. In this study, the preference of web sites in the shopping sector was compared using the VIKOR method, which is a multicriteria decision-making method, and the most preferred website was identified. In this context, the opinions of one hundred and eighty web site users were consulted. In the scope of the study, evaluation criteria were determined first. Using VIKOR method, web sites with similar characteristics have been examined in terms of usability.
