“…The period of nursing study is essential to the formation of PI and this instrument will provide the possibility to monitor the development of the PI at different education stages. Since, during the study time, students acquire knowledge, skills, and learn from their mentors (role models), which is necessary to distinguish themselves from other professionals (Haghighat et al, 2019), this instrument will also provide an opportunity to gain insight into the real impact of the educational program on the development of PI, which has been confirmed as a basis for providing high quality and safety health care.
