Although micro-level productivity and effectiveness measurement in the tourism sector has been an important research topic in recent years, there is limited research at the macro level. An important reason for this is that the international tourism destinations offer differences in tourism resources. Difficulties in turning many different tourism sources into homogeneity make it difficult to carry out these studies. For this reason, it is aimed to compare the productivity and efficiency of the tourism sector of international tourism destinations and to establish a methodology for this. Technical Efficiency Change (TED), Technological Efficiency Change (TKD), Pure Technique Efficiency Change (SED), Scale Activity Change (ÖED) and Total Factor Productivity Change (TFPC) were calculate related to tourism sectors of 19 countries in the period of 2013, 2015 and 2017 by using Malmquist Total Factor Efficiency (TFP) method based on Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) in the study.
