Evaluating severe hypercholesterolemia in an uninsured, vulnerable population receiving care at a community clinic

Abstract: BackgroundIndividuals with LDL-C ≥190 mg/dL (severe hypercholesterolemia) require treatment with high-intensity statins and should be evaluated for underlying causes including Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH).
