Evaluating Progestogens for Preventing Preterm Birth International Collaborative (EPPPIC): Meta-analysis of Individual Participant Data From Randomised Controlled Trials

Abstract: methyldopa group and 22.5% in the nifedipine group (P < 0.001). The reduction of preeclampsia was from 48.8% to 26.5% in the methyldopa group and 28.7% in the nifedipine group (P < 0.001). In turn, there were reductions in preterm birth and neonatal intensive care unit admissions as well (Pregnancy Hypertens 2019;17:54-58).
