Evaluating green innovation and performance of financial development: mediating concerns of environmental regulation

Abstract: This research measures the relationship between green innovation and the performance of financial development by using an econometric estimation during the year of 2000 to 2018 in 28 Chinese provinces. It is intended to explore the relative role of green technological innovation in driving green financial development in the west and central China, as well as how it influences economic growth in these regions. Ordinary least square (OLS) framework was utilized in mainland China to perform empirical studies by u… Show more

“…In addition, it also allows for locational asymmetry among the constructs according to the location of the understudy constructs within its conditional distribution (Lahiani 2018). Finally, QARDL lets the cointegrating coefficients to modification over the innovation quantile originated from shocks (Hsu et al 2021;Shahbaz et al 2018). Additionally, the causal association between the study variables is checked with the help of the Granger causality technique while considering all three ranges of lower, medium, and higher-order quantiles (Ehsanullah et al 2021;He et al 2021;Umar et al 2021a, b).…”

“…In the EU ETS, public distribution will be set up in a decentralized framework, allowing the states to set their own reward amounts. In addition, the EU ETS rejects certain large transmission areas (see Figure 1), such as the aluminum sector and flights, emanation covers, and exchange areas (Li et al, 2021).…”

“…The ideas of organizations and streams have been utilized for some time now to recognize new global foundations and practices, as well as ecological relief in the two civilizations. Vehicle frameworks, business locations in cities, biodiversity/ nature, biofuel, practical fish exchange (Zhang et al, 2021), (Hsu et al, 2021) and (Ehsanullah et al, 2021).…”

“…Environmental regulation, according to the second viewpoint, will increase ecological productivity, foster technical progress in businesses, and achieve the objective of energy conservation and pollution reduction. Zhang et al (2020a) studied 30 Chinese provinces and cities and discovered a strong environmental regulatory framework to be the most important factor in ensuring regional eco-efficiency (Hsu et al 2021;(Ehsanullah et al 2021). The third point of view is that the effect of environmental regulations on carbon emissions is speculative.…”
