Ethylenediamine Functionalized Cellulose Acetate [CAEDA] Nanosized Solid Base Catalyst in the Synthesis of 2‐Amino‐4H‐Chromenes and 5‐Substituted‐1H‐Tetrazoles

Abstract: A series of 2-amino-4H-chromenes by combining dimedone, different substituted aromatic aldehydes and malononitrile and 5-substituted-1H-tetrazoles by combining variable aldehydes, hydroxylamine hydrochloride and sodium azide have been efficiently synthesized in presence of ethylenediamine functionalized cellulose acetate as a solid base catalyst i.e Cellulose acetate[1,2-ethylenediamine][CAEDA].
