Ethnobotanical Studies on Some Medicinal Plant Resources Practiced by the Deori Community of Biswanath District, Assam

Abstract: The present study evaluates 23 medicinal plants used by the Deori community of Biswanath District, Assam, of which some are more special and new report in medicinal aspects. Generally, these medicinal plants are used to treat some common as well as special diseases and are practiced by a person called “Bez”.
