Abstract:Samples of Antarctic krill, Euphausia supema, collected from 18 locations in the Drake Passage, Bransfteld Strait and on the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula were analyzed for protein variation using enzyme e1ectrophoresis. Of 19 enzyme loei studied, 14 (73,6%) exhibit al1elic variations. Average heterozigosity for a station varies from 0,129 to 0,157. Five loei are with null al1eles.
